Hey, a new forum. It's like finding a pile of blank paper and a box of crayons!
Greetings from Brrokk, level 31 dwarf of the Lonely Mountain, Bane of the Barrows and bearer of the keen edged axe "Sambrog's Bane", Artisan Jeweller.
I am currently hunting fell beasts such as Wargs and Lynx in the northern edge of the North Downs, near the marches of Angmar.
May the stars shine on your questing.

Alright dad, what's going down? Me and Jayar have next week off, I think some serious questing is in order to take you from your level 31 footer status and take you up to a level 35 horser status! You got any days off next week? - Wills out

Well, I'm almost L33 now. Had a great time last night: three different quests all had me slaying Wargs. Slaying a single Warg made all three quests count up. And I found a hollow east of Esteldin full of Warg Hunters! It was empty after I finished; best to fight only one at a time though. That crossbow is great for pulling one out of the pack for slaying. Othrikar has been good for dwarf quests; there are rumours of Mithril there. I've done most of the solo quests there now though. So I have to race Daveomere to L35? What level is he now? I haven't exactly got days off next week, but I could finish early on the Friday. Or I have just about any evening except Wednesday free. I wouldn't mind getting into the Misty Mountains: with some of that kind of silver I could forge artefacts of great power for all.

I believe Daveomere got to level 32 last night, so it's getting close... You'll need to gun it in Evendim if you want to get to 35 in time. Also, I'm up for some misty mountain action next week, got a whole week off... Yahoo!

I must get some recipes for awesome jools off the auctions for you to make me Brrokk. I've got some misty mountain silver and (masterly) polished beryls just gagging to be fashioned into something special.
Good luck to both though in the race to become a horser and leave the lowly footer behind.

Great. I've got these recipes, but the best ones all need Misty Mountain Silver. Maybe I should post here a list of the things I can make. I must be falling behind in the "horse race". No time to play last night. What character are you in LOTRO, JRDub? <EDIT>Are you Jayar? My ambition is a simple one. I want to forge jewelled artefacts of awesome power, the desire of which will spread madness and plunge the world into war.

Yep, Jayar here. Probably should have mentioned that before.
Even if you don't win the horse race I've got a recipe for a pretty fancy level 35 armour that should take the sting out of losing.

MMmm... Armour. And I'm already nearly invincible even in the last set you made me. (No Orc has dared to call me Vince for some time now). I got sent to slay Cold Worms. Three at once attacked me, but I looted their corpses. Well, I've managed L33 over the weekend but I met Dave in Newport and he said he's nearly there, so I expect he has done L35 by now.

Yeah Daveomere got to level 35 yesterday and claimed his prize, so as soon as he completes the riding quest he'll be a mounted hunter.
